About Us

The Online Learning Circle has been developed to provide high quality, cost effective courses that are convenient for students to study. We will be adding courses regularly to this site so that students will have access to a place where they can build their skills for work or pleasure.

Our Background

The OLC is part of Systematic Training and Trading Ltd (STT) which is a group of home-study colleges offering vocational training and skills in a wide variety of subjects. We have students of all ages and backgrounds from around the world.

Our original college was set up in 1931. It has been family owned and run since its inception and has kept its core values of providing quality courses with real, practical value that are affordable to all. Because of this, a huge number of our students have gone on to develop successful careers or moved on to further education – something we’re very proud of!

ABCC

STT is a member of the (ABCC). The fundamental purpose of the ABCC is to safeguard the best interests of distance learning students by promoting sound educational standards and ethical business practices.

Membership is only open to distance learning colleges who have provided a consistently reliable and efficient tutorial service for no less than five years and who comply with the criteria for membership approved by the Council of the Association.

UKRLP

Online Learning Circle is on the UK Register of Learning Providers Registration Number 10007651.

The UK Register of Learning Providers is a 'one-stop' portal to be used by government departments, agencies, learners, and employers to share key information about learning providers. The UKRLP allows providers to update their information in one place and share this across agencies such as the Skills Funding Agency, the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and UCAS.

Since provider registration opened on 1st August 2005, the UKRLP has grown to over 30,000 providers. Each of these has been verified against a recognised external source and has been allocated a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN). This is the unique identifier used to share information with the UKRLP partner agencies.
