Q1 Do I need any experience or qualifications to enrol on this course?
No, the courses are suitable for anyone. And there are no special qualifications required either. The courses are written in a simple format that’s specifically designed for online distance learning. All you need to bring is a willingness to learn and a desire to do well.

Q2 When can I enrol?
You can enrol at any time. There are no course start dates – once you’ve enrolled you simply start when you are ready. In fact, there are no deadlines set by us at all. You choose when to study and when to complete your exams – it’s totally flexible. All you’ll ever receive from us is a gentle email prompting you to log in if you haven’t done so for a while.

Q3 Are there any classes or exams I need to attend?
No, the course is conducted entirely online – there are no classes to attend. The same goes for the exams, you simply take them online when you are ready.

Q4 What computer skills are required for the course?
You’ll only need very basic skills. We’ve made the course interface as easy as we can so it’s simple to understand and navigate. You’ll just need to point and click to access the course materials, take your exams and even print out your certificate.

Q5 Am I able to view the course on mobile devices, such as tablets?
Yes, you are able to view the course materials on your tablet or smart phone making studying simple and convenient.

Q6 How long will I have access to the course materials for?
Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll have access to the course materials for as long as you want them. Some colleges stop you accessing them once you’ve completed all the exams, but we feel that’s unfair. We want you to be able to go back and re-read them as many times as you need to.

Q7 How long do I have to take the exams?
The exams will be available for one year. That’s plenty of time for you to complete them. And should you find that you’ve not completed them all by the end of the year, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Q8 Are there any age restrictions for students enrolling in this course?
Yes, there’s a lower age limit. We feel that the courses are only suitable for people over the age of 16. However, we may be flexible on this, so if you are under 16 or you know someone under the age of 16 who wants to enrol, please contact us and we’ll certainly discuss it with you. There is no upper age limit.

Q9 Is anything sent to me through the post?
No, there’s nothing sent to you through the post. Everything you need is available when you log into the Student Community Area of the website.

Q10 Do I need to buy any other books once I’ve enrolled onto the course?
No, we provide everything you need to complete the course. The fee you pay covers all the course material and the exams.

Q11 How is my final grade decided?
As you work your way through the exams your final grade, at that point in time, will be available for you to see in the ‘My Exams’ area of the Student Community Area so you can see how well you are doing. You’ll need to score 70% or above to pass each exam. Your final score is an average of the exam marks you’ve achieved throughout the course.

Q12 How will I receive my certificate?
Your certificate will be available to download and print out as soon as you’ve completed the course. It will detail your name, the title of the course you’ve completed, the modules you’ve studied and the marks for each, as well as your overall grade. If you’d like to see a copy of the certificate you’ll receive, click here.
